Hello and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Jeff Ball. I
graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2000 with a degree in
Business Management and also pursued Continuing Education Courses in
exercise science.
V.I.People & Pets came about as a result of my love and appreciation for
all animals, my expertise as a personal trainer, and a general willingness to
take care of others' needs. I realized over several years of working as a
pet sitter and in-home home improvement sales representative, that most
families owned a pet. I thought about what these people did with their pets
when they went out of town. A majority of them called their friends or
neighbors to help out or sent their furry friends to a kennel where hard
concrete, less-than-personal attention and sicknesses await.
It became apparent that people really need a reliable in-home service,
whether it's pet sitting/house sitting, personal training, and/or
errand-running - all from the comfort of your own home! There is nothing
like peace of mind when you are out of town, sick, working long hours, or
whatever else you need to do when there just isn't enough time in the day -
Peace of mind and reliability better than your neighbor, friend, kennel, or
alarm system.
My family has always been fond of animals, and over the years, I grew up
with many different pets in rural Minnesota; 15+ cats at any given time,
dogs, horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits. I enjoy taking care of pets
when their owners cannot. As Cobb County's exclusive Accredited Pet
Sitter of Pet Sitters international, I have had a tremendous amount of
success and have met some wonderful people.
In addition, shortly after watching the documentary Super Size Me by
Morgan Spurlock in 2004 (I recommend everyone watch this film about
the fast food industry!), I decided to help change peoples' lives as a
Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ACE). I've come to
learn a great deal about my own health and well-being and truly enjoy
passing on that valuable information to others who are ready to change
their health and habits.
